Using Zoom with Nexley
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Nexley can work with your Zoom account. This guide explains what it does, what you need, how to add the app, how to use it and how to remove it.
What it does
Once Zoom is connected, you can ask your Nexley to:
- list your upcoming and past meetings, and give you a meeting’s details and join link;
- schedule a meeting, move it or change it;
- register attendees for a meeting and read its registrations;
- tell you who attended a past meeting;
- read a past meeting’s Zoom AI Companion summary and its transcript;
- list your cloud recordings and download them.
Every change in Zoom is made only after the account owner approves that exact change. Nexley then reads the result back from Zoom.
What you need
- A Nexley account. Only the account owner can connect Zoom.
- A Zoom account.
- For meeting summaries: Zoom AI Companion meeting summaries switched on in your Zoom account.
- For recordings and transcripts: Zoom cloud recording.
Adding the app
- Sign in to your Nexley dashboard at nexley.co.uk.
- Open Integrations from the menu.
- Click Add integration.
- Type Zoom in the Search integrations box (or choose Meetings & Video), then click the Zoom tile.
- Zoom opens. Sign in to the Zoom account you want to connect.
- Zoom shows the permissions Nexley is asking for. Review them, then click Allow.
- You come back to the Integrations page. It shows “Zoom connected - your Nexley can use it now.” and a Zoom card marked Active.
Using it
Ask your Nexley in plain English, in the dashboard chat or wherever you usually message it. For example:
- “Book a 30-minute Zoom with Sam on Thursday at 10am.”
- “What did we agree in Friday’s planning meeting?”
- “Who joined Monday’s catch-up?”
- “Move tomorrow’s 2pm Zoom to 3pm.”
When you ask for a change, Nexley shows you exactly what it will do and waits for your approval before it changes anything in Zoom.
Removing the app
In Zoom:
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace at marketplace.zoom.us.
- Click Manage, then Added Apps.
- Find Nexley and click Remove.
You can also disconnect Zoom in your Nexley dashboard:
- Open Integrations.
- On the Zoom card, click Disconnect.
- In the Disconnect Zoom? box, click Disconnect.
Your Nexley loses access to Zoom straight away and Nexley deletes its connection to your Zoom account.
What happens to your data
Nexley’s access to your Zoom account ends when the app is removed. Zoom information that appeared in your chat history is kept with that history. It is deleted when your Nexley account is deleted, or sooner if you ask us at hello@nexley.ai. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
