Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your Nexley AI account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the Nexley AI mobile app and dashboard, provided by Nexley AI.

Option 1 - Delete it yourself in the app

The fastest way is in the app: open Settings → Delete account, type your email to confirm, and tap Delete my account. Your AI Employee is paused immediately, you’re signed out everywhere, and the deletion completes as described below. No charge, no need to contact us.

Option 2 - Ask us to delete it

If you can’t access the app, email support@nexley.co.uk from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll verify it’s you and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

  • Your chats with your AI Employee
  • All customer messages, contacts, and conversation history
  • All photos you captured (receipts, business cards, job-site images)
  • All linked integrations (Gmail, Calendar, etc.) - disconnected at the source
  • Your AI Employee compute instance - fully decommissioned
  • Your account credentials and biometric records
  • Your push-notification subscription

What we’re required to keep (and for how long)

  • Financial / transaction records - retained as required by UK tax law (up to 6 years). Billing is handled by Stripe; records on our side are anonymised.
  • A deletion audit-log entry - the fact that a deletion happened (UK GDPR Article 30). This contains no message content and no contact data.

How long deletion takes

Your account is soft-deleted immediately - the AI is paused, notifications are muted, and sign-in is blocked. All personal data is then permanently erased within 14 days. The 14-day window is a safety net so you can recover the account if you change your mind - email support@nexley.co.uk before it elapses. After 14 days the deletion is irreversible.
